SELENE-2

Did you know that planning and preparation of the largest, most-comprehensive mission to the moon since the Apollo missions is currently ongoing in Japan? The SELENE-2 (Selenological and Engineering Explorer) mission will include an orbiter, lander and rover and is expected to launch in 2017. The rover will conduct experiments in addition to helping pave the path for future manned space exploration missions.
